Title: Tempest - A Storm Is Brewing
Post by: Jürgen Hubert on August 06, 2006, 01:00:20 PM
The CeBeGia is not the first Wiki worldbuilding project I was involved in - another such project was started over at ENWorld.

It was intended as a "classical" D&D setting, adhering relatively closely to the standard D&D rules. However, at my suggestion it adopted a twist - the world is at the brink of a continent-spanning war, with two alliances of realms and kingdoms becoming increasingly hostile to each other.

This isn't a classical conflict of "Good versus Evil" - both sides have good and bad points. It's more appropriate to think of the eve of WWI, where both sides were so eager for a war that they ignored the possible costs.

The setting has been neglected for the last few months, but I'm currently trying to get it more active again. If you want to take a look, you can see it here:

To be fair, I didn't start this project, though a fair bit of the political structure is from me...
