Listen, I'm sorry to do this to everyone...but I'm going to have to go on a break, a long one. I need to sort out my real life, but that's only part of the problem. The other part of this notice is that, effective immediately, I am resigning from Modship here at the CBG.
Understand this is not being done lightly. However...I stopped having fun. I used to check this place every five miniutes, just to see what sort of new wackyness was going on. Now, I can't come here without being wracked with guilt about not getting anything done on the Guide, or for not having done anything with the smilies, or for not reading every thread for review, or for not reading the Setting of the Week, or for forgetting to post a new Showcase thread. I can't come here anymore without feeling guilty, and that's the last thing I need right now.
It's not any of you who is at fault here - none of these are things I should feel guilty about, the problem is mine. However, if I don't do this now, I'll eventually just get fed up and have to leave for good. By leaving now, I should be able to come back in about a month. I won't be on AIM either, and for those of you who know of other ways to contact me...don't. Please. Again, not because of you guys, but because of me.
I guess that's it. I'm never any good at goodbyes. I'll probably be back in about a month, fully re-energized and full of crazy ideas and all that good stuff, but for now...I'm just tired. Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful times we've shared, and I look forward to sharing more wonderful times when I return.

i know you said you said it isnt any of our faults, but reading this, i kinda feel bad for that PM i sent you earlier. just remember, above all else, take your time on it, honestly.
take it easy, and get things sorted out. i can only speak for myself with absolute certainty, but i think i speak for all of us when i say- i kinda like having you here. youll certainly be missed.

Enjoy your break. Your sanity and enjoyment is more important than community participation. If it isn't fun anymore, we're missing the point.
If you come back (and I hope you do), I hope you come back refreshed and inspired, full of enthusiasm, and once again enjoying our shared hobby. In the meanwhile, enjoy your hiatus, and best of luck with the real-life issues.
