Title: CBG SYSTEM BASICS, a summary
Post by: CYMRO on September 10, 2006, 12:27:00 PM
The following is a summary of concepts so far that have been nailed down, though expansion to some is obviously needed...

CONCEPT:
Levelless and classless, all skills, feats, spells, proficiencies, ability score increases, etcetera to be bought individually with experience points.

ABILITY SCORES:
COORDINATION:  governs "to hit rolls
LUCK: governs saves, contributes to VP
REACTION TIME: governs AC
STRENGTH: governs encumbrance, damage modifier
TOUGHNESS: governs WP, contributes to VP

These scores range from (0 or 1) upward.  The scores are their own modifier, i.e a Strength score of 1 has a +1 modifier, a Strength score of 2 has a +2 modifier, and so on.

Dice pools for conflict resolution. The base die type is a d6.

COMBAT:
10 action points per round as a base.
An attack(melee, ranged, or magical) costs 7 action points.
Movement costs 1 point per square.
(more to be decided...)
