Forgot that we typically do these...or at least used to (feels old). Anyway, all posts regarding Life in the Aether (http://www.thecbg.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?190023.last) should go here.
Of course, to fuel discussion, I always ask questions:
Namely, what would you like to see first? The societies of the Aether, the Technologies that have arisen from this new science, the Creatures that inhabit these worlds, What the other world are like? Just ask and I'll be happy to provide.
Best to start with the life forms. It helps to put technology and societies into context when you know what manner of beings invented them.
All else aside for now...
Quotethis campaign is going to be used for a comic, either a webcomic with a friend or (if my editor likes it) a publication for a comic company I recently started working for.
You're living the dream.

I guess I should have clarified on that - life forms would be flora/fauna. At least initially, I'm restricting sapience to humans and human cultures, with the exception of a few less technologically advanced natives - other intelligent life forms do exist, but they are not going to be playing major roles for awhile in the series and I'm kind of leaving them on the backburner right now. This is about humans more than anything else.

Believe me, I cannot express how excited I am about this. That's part of why my posting isn't as frequent as it used to be - I've got deadlines to meet and such for writing now. :D It's a start up company, so it's not guaranteed that it's going to go anywhere...however, at least one of my scripts has artwork finished and is going to be appearing either in this anthology or the next, so if nothing else, even if it makes no money, I can officially say that I was published - and that my title was staff writer.
Sorry, this may be off topic, but...
Hi! I'm Newb MSTie, and i'm an aspiring graphic novelist (i know that i sound really pretentious, i just prefer the graphic novel format over comic books). I probably am going to have a huge amount i want to talk about, so here are some things i wanted to ask you pertaining your campaign.
Is using RPG's a good idea for world building in comics? I could certainly see how that would be helpful, but i was wondering what your thoughts were?
Are you worried about people taking your ideas and stuff like that? It's part of the reason I'm so nervous to post up stuff on the internet.
I don't want to overload you right now with my nerd.outs and rambling questions, so i'll just leave now...
I'll handle this...

Seems there's quite a few of us, here.

That's why I responded. IPerhaps someone should maybe make a thread for this sort of stuff...
Actually gonna make a separate thread for this discussion, because it's one that seems to be of interest to everyone here. Doing so...well, after I finish this post.
