Title: Help! Is there an insanity domain?
Post by: Raelifin on October 29, 2006, 11:27:59 PM
Hello! I'm in a bit of a jam. I need to know if there is an insanity domain out there. I don't buy splatbooks, so I wouldn't have a clue. I don't need everything, but I'd kinda like to know if it's any good or not and I definitely need to know what book it's in. Thanks a bundle,
 -Rael

EDIT: And if anyone knows of a rage domain, that'd be good too.

Deities and Demigods, pg 214

Madness Domain
Deities: Dionysus
Granted Power: Gain an Insanity score, hald your class levels (all classes).  Interesting effects.  It helps for spellcasting, but hinders other Wisdom-related checks.  1/day you can add it as a positive rather than a negative to a Wisdom skill check.

Spells
1 Random Action
2 Touch of Madness (new spell)
3 Rage (new spell)
4 Confusion
5 Bolts of Bedevilment (new spell)
6 Phantasmal Killer
7 Insanity
8 Maddening Scream (new spell)
9 Weird

Shame on you for not having the Deities and Demigods. ;)

Thanks.

The funny thing is that I do have Deities and Demigods and I was about to look through the book the other day. Then I discovered that I had lost it. Go poor organization skills! ^_^

Don't you hate it when that happens?

And I couldn't find a Rage, or simliar, domain.

I really don't buy splatbooks either, and when I was looking for a Music Domain, I couldn't find one, except one that wasn't really any good, so then I was trying to put one together with lists of spells in books I didn't have . . . *shudders* :hammer:

it's also at d20srd: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/divine/domains.htm#madnessDomain

Of course, you apparently have the book that comes from, so it doesn't really matter. Just thought i'd point it out.
