The crowd watches as the two contestants walk out onto the field. Both undefeated, both proud warriors, but each with a unique style. Who will walk away from the match, and who will be left in the dust?

He looks around at the crowd, his shield hanging from his belt, his famous sword sheathed carefully. He puts three of his four Spears carefully into the ground, the others ready to throw at a moment's notice. He looks across the field at his opponent, "When you die today, it will be with great honor. May you spend eternity in the highest place in your god's hall." He salutes Boris with his spear, and drops into a combat position, ready for the battle.[/ic]

Stomping into the arena moments later, Boris makes quite of contrast to Orbis' gleaming form, with his short stature and bladed, black plate armour. Hey Skinny! I hear the dwarves are the masters where you come from. Ain't nothin' changed, boy. It's exactly the same here." The he pulls out a rock and makes a great show of crushing it in his hand. Where he drops the dust to the ground, the rock seems to boil and a huge rocky beast rises up beside him, then sinks ubruptly back into the ground. Then he rests his hand on his axe, and readies for the fight.[/ic]

What's so awkward about the pillar? It's got a nice view and Boris has issues about being short. (i mean, he has flying boots and summons rock monsters 3 times his height. He's totally compensating for something.)[/ooc]

Perhaps I must learn to adapt to this new world, but it is my choice. If I choose to fight with or without magic, that is my choice. You have mad yours, and I may look at mine again. But, for now, since you have given me another chance at combat, I will accept it, I am not stupid. I hope I teach you that fighting dirty is not the way to fight, even if you win, you have still lost." With that, Orbis drops his bow, equips his shield, and draws his sword.

As the dust clears, a large group of people walk out onto the field from behind one of the gates. One man steps forward from the group, and picks up Orbis' body, carrying it off the field, the others gather up his weapons, leaving quickly, before Boris has a chance to attack.[/ic]
