Extreme heat (air temperature over 140Ã,° F, fire, boiling water, lava) deals lethal damage. Breathing air in these temperatures deals 1d6 points of damage per minute (no save). In addition, a character must make a Fortitude save every 5 minutes (DC 15, +1 per previous check) or take 1d4 points of nonlethal damage. Those wearing heavy clothing or any sort of armor take a -4 penalty on their saves. In addition, those wearing metal armor or coming into contact with very hot metal are affected as if by a heat metal spell.

[ic=Announcer] This is going to be one heck of a fight ladies and gentlemen. The arena has been turned into a bubbling pool of lava. Only the toughest of our athletes have survived the onslaught of the heat contained within the combat area. I am glad I am high above the field on this lovely mid-autumn day. Here come our combatants (crowd starts to cheer). Out of the northern gates comes Diazzo, he has shown magnificient abilities inside the ring. He comes Tharamir out of the southern gate, oh my this is going to be interesting folks. We now have two spellcasters facing off.[/ic]
[ooc] Since there is no DM for this match, I guess we will use the honor system. Secret moves will be entered into spoiler blocks. The other combatant will not be allowed to look at these, so if they do something where the secret move affects them you will have to tell them.

[ooc]Luckily this map has platforms, since we didn't discuss it before the match. I would say as long as you stay on your staring platform then it is acceptable to move. So yes I02 would be fine. Though I think Tharamir is going to be a little miffed that you got luckjy and found the edge of his silenced area. :)[/ooc]
