Everyone, post here if you are looking for a fight. Include level and character in your post, please.
Note: This thread is just for people looking for fights in the Arena. :)
Leran, Wizard 5/Sandshaper 7 is looking for a fight. He'll fight anyone, anywhere.
Several Vermilion Clan members are looking for their first match in the Arena, especially after seeing the first one get turned into a pile of dust.
I'm putting up 2 level 12 combatants as currently looking for a match: Yamitz (a barbarian centaur) and Thoth Palomar (a Terran gunslinger) Vermilion.
I have a level 12 druid, Korik Hellstorm, that will take one of you up on that fight if you want.
Or what it we do a 3 person free for all fight?
Sounds like fun! How about something a bit less complicated than the last FFA, like an open field save what we add to it?
Sure, sounds good. Lets go with 2 rounds before entering the arena, and then [dice]1d3[/dice] rounds inside for prep.
What d'you say, RW? you in on this?
Also, do we want any terrain at all? or jus blank?
I'm in the middle of a maze match, so I'm rather tired of extensive terrain. How about a nice, traditional, sand gladiator pit?

Sounds good. Any kind of terrain is fine by me.
Edit: It seems the dice roll in the quote is different. We'll stick with the original roll, I guess.
I am interested in doing a team fight of some kind. I'd almost prefer four different people, but I wouldn't mind using two of my own characters. I don't have two of any level yet, but I should have two level 12s soon, and possibly two level 16s following that.
I'd be up for that. I have (at least ideas for) at least 2 guys in most categories. Just say the word.
I'd be willing to go level 12 as soon as I finish Sara. If someone else wants to join me before that, I could go at any level.
Hey RW and EH, i have my druid finished. YOu wanna staret the free for all?
he's located here Korik Hellstorm (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5041)
@ Darkxarth, i have several lvl 12's made up. The 2 on 2 idea could be fun. Let me know when yo uhave characters ready.

I'm good to start.
Though, I might be limited to post in the evenings - work takes up most of the rest of the day.

I have my 2 level 12 characters ready, unless anyone else wants to join in. But I think I should wait to start until after Orbis' battle is done.
You might be interested to know that this team includes my previously secret character, Leon, Lone Warrior (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5196). Ironically, he's on a team this battle, paired with Sara, Mistress of Summons (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5367).
Oh, man. I have to fight Leon! I don't know if i could bring myself to kill that guy even if i did manage to beat him.
I'm using Korik Hellstorm (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5041), a great druid warrior and Travis McBaerin (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5080), an effigy master (as yet incomplete).
I just realised that i have lots of lvl 20 and 16 designs made up, but only one and a half lvl 12's. Better finish Travis chop chop pretty damn quick.
How many rounds of prep do you want to play with? 2 inside and 2 out?
Quote from: ~#c7Oh, man. I have to fight Leon! I don't know if i could bring myself to kill that guy even if i did manage to beat him.
He's based off of a a character I played in a d20 Modern campaign, I just advanced him to level 12. He should be fun to fight.

Mage Armor[/i]? Which would last plenty long enough to use in the morning. If we just want to use the 4 rounds, that's fine too.
My 4th CL Rogue/Wizard, Belarin the Fire Juggler (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5317), looks ready to go. Or die, whichever. Anyone wanna give him a fight?
Anyone wanna do a fight between level 20 gestalt characters? Say... a week or two from now?
Quote from: beejazzAnyone wanna do a fight between level 20 gestalt characters? Say... a week or two from now?
You mean, Gestalt 16s? or actual Gestalt 20? By the original Arena thread, Gestalt 16s count as in the level 20 category.
Well, in any case, i've got a level 16 Gestalt Wu Jen/Barbarian that i'd like to try out if you're interested.
@RW: i have like a dozen finished or half finished lvl20's. i'll fight you gestalt. You may want to give him more equipement this time though.
@Beejazz: I don't understand Gestalt, so i wouldn't want to make a gestalt 20 in order to fight your guy. If hes a lvl16 gestalt so he fight in lvl 20 bracket, then by all means. let's fight. If he is a 20/20 gestalt, then would you be okay with continuing the bracket progression so that i get to fight you with a lvl 24 character?
If anyone else wants a fight, i'll fight any level, but i have a lot og 16's and 20's i want to try out, so those levels would be prefered.
Looking for a level 12 fight against Kaldra Rivenfire (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5221)
No idea what a Dragonfire adept is, but i never let poor reconnaisance keep me away from fights i don't understand. Korik Hellstorm Accepts. Lets the badly unimformed tactical decisions begin.
Yay! Want to do a standard arena, or do you have something else in mind?
Standard is fine by me. So is anything else.
For prep, 2 round before and 2 rounds in the arena sound good? (this has kind of become the standard).
Huh, ok, that sounds fine. You start the thread. :D

Advance 'im to level 20 in both and you're on!
(I do need to stall long enough to make my dude after all)
And... wow. Wuj/bbn... Hadn't thought of that, but it sounds awesome.

I guess I'll get to work on a 16 'stalt, too... No promises on when it'll be finished.
Well, let's see. I've had 4 losses and 1 win so far, if I recall correctly.
So, I'm looking for another fight. Perhaps another lv 8? Or a lv 1? I have a Human Level 1 Fighter and a Human Level 8 Sorcerer ready to go.

You want me to start the thread?
Woah... I needa bitta time! I'm still gettin' used to ToB stuff! I'll have 'im soon, though.
Remember what I said about a Lv 1 or 4 fight? Forget it. Any level.
I have:
One Lv 1 Ftr
One Lv 4 Sor
One Lv 4 Pal
One Lv 8 Sor
One Lv 12 Tough Hero
One Lv 12 Wiz (Conjurer)
One Lv 16 Ftr
One Lv 20 Drd
One Lv 20 Sor
I am willing to fight anyone with any of these, in any combination. I also have several other characters in the works that should be done relatively soon.
Darkxarth, wanna send someone against my 4th CL Rogue/Wizard, Belarin (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5317)? Either is fine.
I'll give Barnaby Broadarm (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5595) a try against your Belarin.
Sure -- should be interesting, one way or another. 2/before, 2/in in terms of prep? And what arena?
Yeah, sounds good. And it doesn't really matter to me what Arena we use. Though normal would be fine, you know, keep things simple.
works for me, as long as there's enough space to play. Wanna start the thread?
Quote from: mnemeWanna start the thread?
Ka-Thread!
Anyone else? Having finished his first fight, (to victory and laughter), Belarin, the Fire Juggler (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5317) (or is it Belarin the Clown?) is available for another fight against another EL4.
I've an Azurin Samurai/Incarnate that's looking for a fight at EL 4, mneme. To everyone else, I've an EL8, an EL 12, and an EL16 all interested in a fight.
I have a level 4 or a level 20 looking for a fight. Possibly 16 too.
Darkxarth? you wanna fight?
Did you finish your second level 12? If not, I suppose I could battle with Erilon, my other level 16.
Endless, sure, let's try it. Normal Arena sound good?
I don't have a second lvl 12 made up. I would want to do a lvl 4 fight. Or a lvl 20 fight. (if you want to try out your new 16, i'd be fine with a 16, but i'd rather 4 or 20. whar about barnaby or te warden or mother nature?)
Yeah, I could give Barnaby another try, or Mother Nature is ready for combat.
Take your pick and make a thread. I'm fine with either.
2 and 2 for prep rounds?
Do you think you can stop Mother Nature?
or
Mother Nature strikes back!
or
Prepare for the wrath of Mother Nature!
@mneme: Yeah, sounds fine. I'll make the thread, so you still want to do the two and two rounds for preperation?
Seems like a good idea. Mind making it "two before, one to influence the audience (that can't include stuff affecting the combat itself), two rounds inside the arena?"
And so it begins...
Quote from: Captain ObviousTake your pick and make a thread. I'm fine with either.
2 and 2 for prep rounds?
Who is Mother Nature fighting? Which one of your level 20s?
Well, jeroen is broken and i already used Janeera, so, i'm gonna use Morin Skinwalker, my were-dinoncyus (or however the hell you spell that). You wanna try some crazy map? like a maze or a floating platform one?
Sure, let's do the floating platform one. I've already done the maze map.
Let me prepare my spells, should take 5 minutes, and then I'll start the thread.
I'm looking for a match that is level 12 category or higher. I've got several characters ready - see the Vermilion Clan link in my signature.
I'd be willing to put up a level 12 to fight. I even have a d20 Modern character, if you'd like to fight him. It could be the first d20 Modern match!
EDIT: I also have a Conjurer. Your call.
I'd ;like to fight a level 4. Ihave a duskblade ready that i want to try out.

Oh, are you sure she didn't question my parentry and then make disparaging remarks about my manliness?
In any event, Barnaby accepts, and explains that while he was raised by Gnomes, he was the son of two Half-Orc parents who were killed by an Ogre.
Captain Obvious, where do you want to have the match at? Which Arena? 2 rounds pre-Arena, 2 rounds pre-combat?
yeah, 2 and 2 sounds fine. or if you want we could do 2 then d3. you make the pick and roll if you choose d3.
As for map? do we have a fire map or lava map yet? let's do that one if we have one.
I am of the opinion that low-level battles should always occur near open lava pits. More exciting that way, lol.
Actually i'd just be fine with a normal feild, or anything really. Make a pick or roll for it. I don't mind either way.
Yes, we have a lava pit Arena.

No problem, I'll let you start it so we can begin whenver you have the time. I'll be off-and-on until Sunday (Thanksgiving break and all that) so it may be slow going at first.
EDIT: Yeah, I rolled in the wrong thread, but I did have a point in coming here.
I have a possible level 12 fight with Realm Weaver and a possible level 16 fight with Supa, but neither of those has started yet, so I'm looking for a fight right now. I have a large variety of gladiators, and will accept any challenge.

Eh...I'll go without the bike for now. Though, i'll have to wait until tomorrow to set up the initial post.
That arena sounds fine.
In honor of the oncoming winter season, i'd like to propose a holiday-themed battle.
I have my two characters (Servant Ruprecht and Ms. Claus (http://www.thecbg.org/settings/134/Miscellany/OtherPolarDemons.html)) all decked out and ready for battle. They are ready to take on any other two-person team, in snow-type terrain.
Though, I wouldn't want to start right away. I'm still waiting to get the PHB II (Ms. Claus uses the Beguiler class).
Any team that accepts need not be holiday-themed. However, both characters should be Level 20.
Edit: Captain Obvious, i'm sorry I could not start the battle yet, but work has been keeping me from
much forum posting. If you still want to go ahead, i'll start a thread tomorrow.
Sure. I don't remember what level fight we were doing though. was it 12 or 20?

Bah! You and your superhero titles! I must've confused you with Sidekick Boy.
Well, it doesn't really matter now. If you want to have a quick battle, then i'll let you pick level category and field.
What about a 16? or we could do one of your 20's against 2 or 3 of my 16's. i have a bunch i want to try out. 4 16's is supposed to be a rough match for a 20, but lets say 2 or 3 since i don't think the 1:4 ratio works that well, esp. in one off fights.

Sounds good. Wexian counts as a level 20, and she's looking to take anybody on.
Would you be able to start the thread? My work keeps me until 6 on weekdays, so I don't have as much time.
Edit: Durr, I haven't even added her to the Vermilion Clan roster yet. I'll do that now. But here's a link (http://www.thecbg.org/settings/134/Miscellany/WexianVermilion.html) in the meantime.
I've completely retooled Wexian. She should be a competent barbarian now.
So, if you want to have that re-match, Captain Obvious, she'll be ready.
Sure, sounds good.
By the way, what is that impervious vestment thing? and where does your +9 armour come from. (i guess these may be one and the same).

+9 armor bonus, but no max dex or spell failure. Wearer can also make it create a
