Key
o = Floating Platforms
w = Wall (smooth worked stone) Height 80 ft
g = Gates (Adamantine plated 5 ft thick steel)
| | = Deep pit.
Special notes:
Battle area is capped with a wall of force 80 ft up connected to the battle area's walls.
If the combatant falls off the platforms then s/he is teleported out of the combat area and loses the match.
S = Skinwalker, Morin
N = Nature, Mother
[ic=Announcer]Today's matchup looks like one of the best ones we've had in a while. On one side, we have Morin Skinwalker, a Were-Dionech ... Dinechos ... a Were-Dino. She fights tooth and claw against her opponents. And on the other side, we have Mother Nature, a powerful Druid who has shapeshifting abilities of her own. Who will triumph when these two giants of transformation collide? There's only one way to find out, let the match begin!!![/ic]
[ic=Mother Nature (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5493) AC: 37 HP: 96]From the northern gate strides a beautiful, but very ancient, human woman. She is clad in light browns and greens that would blend quite naturally in a forest or woods. She holds in one hand a staff, with a bow over her back and a quiver of arrows hanging at her waist. She looks across the Arena at her opponent, and nods silently.[/ic]
[ooc]Pre-Arena actions
Casts Barkskin on self (+5 Nat AC)
Casts Stoneskin on self (DR 10/Adamantine)
Initiative: [dice]1d20[/dice]
I suspect you go first. ;)
Note: I did not bring Todd, my Fox Animal Companion, with me.[/ooc]
[ic= Morin (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5036), AC 44, hp 300]
Morwin walks into the arena in human form, but as she walks, her bones begin to ripple under her skin and by the time she reaches her starting spot, she had changed into a deadly predator, stalking across the platform.[/ic]
[ooc]Change form and grow talons bigger using morphic weapons abbility.
Enter whirling frenzy.
I figured my actions' order didn't matter sincei don't have much to do really.
Initiative [dice]1d20+10[/dice] starting at C10 [/ooc]
[ooc]Yeah, that's fine. I didn't know what all you could/would do before combat. Anyway, I'll go ahead and use my two pre-combat actions and then you can make your first move.[/ooc]
[ic=Mother Nature (http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=5493) AC: 40 HP: 96]Mother Nature notes the transformation of Morin, and begins slowsly waving her hands, apparently chanting quietly to herself.[/ic]
[ooc]Casts Summon Nature's Ally IX and calls an Elder Air Elemental at G10.
Casts Foresight on herself.
Activates Haste from Boots of Speed. (Free action)[/ooc]
[ooc] Yay! Elementals... oh wait, he's on your side...crap.
I don't think it was ever explicitly stated, but i always kinda assumed the creatures summoned before the game started had to be on your side (in rougly the same are you're allowed to start in). Otherwise, what's to stop someone surrounding their opponent's mage with 8 monsters before the fight started (or even more by using reach monsters) and then tearing them to bits with AoO's if they tried to move on their first turn.
i think we may need a ref.

Good point, your turn.[/ooc]
[ooc] Okay, deep breathe. Here we go. (stupid elder elemental, grr...)[/ooc]
[ic=Morin, AC 44, hp 300]
All of a sudden the creature that was Morin surges forwards and with a great bound launches herself across several platforms and to the right of the elemental. She touches down for just a second, then pivots on one taloned foot and leaps across the final gap and falls on her foe in a flurry of teeth and claws.[/ic]
[ooc] Nominate Elemental as Dodge target.
charge move (140 feet usable, max)
Jump check to reach N13 (60 ft = DC60) running jump [dice]1d20+56+5[/dice]
Turn using fleet of foot and complete charge
Your elemental gets an attack of opportunity (My AC is 50 due to dodge and mobility)
Jump check to reach Q13 (15 ft = DC15) standing jump [dice]1d20+56[/dice]
Full attack using Pounce SQ and use 6 point power attack. (leap attack give a +12 from power attack)
- Bite used for a trip attack (improved trip = no AoO)
touch attack [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] Opposed str check [dice]1d20+15+4+4[/dice]
if you trip you, then i get a bite attack [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]2d6+12+12[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+12[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+12[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+30-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+12[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+25-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+12[/dice]
- Foreclaw [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]1d4+12+12[/dice]
- Foreclaw [dice]1d20+35-6+2[/dice] damage [dice]1d4+12+12[/dice]
I believe that's all correct. If anything is confusing, lemme know.
[/ooc]
[ooc]
So, if i did that all correctly, you have 4 hp left.
Go-Go-Gadget Velociraptors! lol
[edit] if you wondered, i can attack from where i am (10 ft reach from Morphic Reach)
[/ooc]
[ooc]Ok, my Elder Air Elemental gets a maximum of 12 AoO. So, I need to know where you moved so I can see how many it gets to take. Otherwise, great move.[/ooc]
[ooc]hmm, maybe i should have just taken the longer rout. it would have avoided all of those.
lemme count. [/ooc]
[ooc] Hmm... with his 15ft reach i count him getting 7 AoO's.
I defenitely should have gone the other route.
my bad. go ahead and smack me around.[/ooc]
[ooc]Ok. Here goes.
AoO 1: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 2: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 3: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 4: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 5: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 6: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice]
AoO 7: [dice]1d20+27[/dice] Damage: [dice]2d8+6[/dice][/ooc]
[ooc] Well, you can't actually hit when my mobility is active, but the 20 means you auto hit but cant't confirm the crit. so i take 18 damage.[/ooc]
[ooc]Okay, that final naturaly 20 hit, so I need to make a check to see if it was a critical hit.
Critical Hit Confirmation: [dice]1d20+27[/dice]
EDIT: I could've hit with another nat 20.[/ooc]
[ic=Mother Nature HP: 4 AC: 40]Stunned by the brutal first assault of her opponent, Mother Nature knows she's in trouble. However, she also knows that she needs to continue trying, and so prepares her strategy. With a few gestures and more mutterings, Mother Nature calls forth a swirling tower of wind. It swirls at Morin, and she attempts to resist its strength and remain on the ground.[/ic]
[ooc]Whirlwind
Make a Ref save (DC 31) or take 3d8 damage.
If you fail the first one, unlikely, make a second Ref save (also DC 31) or be picked up by the Whirlwind.[/ooc]
[ooc]Hate to break it to you, but both wildshaping and bullrushing are standard actions. You can't do both unless there is something i am unnaware of.
Also i get an AoO. Not for te bullrush, but because i have a 10 ft reach and you have to leave a square i threaten.[/ooc]
[ooc]Well crud. I thought for sure that Wild Shape was a move-action. Crap on a cracker... Well, let me think of something else I can do to not die...[/ooc]
[ooc]Reflex save 1 [dice]1d20+23[/dice]
damage [dice]3d8[/dice]
reflex save 2 [dice]1d20+23[/dice] [/ooc]
[ooc]Just realized that I should have summoned an Earth Elemental and had him Bull Rush you. Oh well, live and learn. In lieu of that, however...[/ooc]
[ic=Elder Air Elemental]The enormous creature of the wind turns towards the speedy opponent, and moves forward, a great gust of wind accompanying it gigantic arms as it attempts to force Morin off the platform.[/ic]
[ooc]Air Elemental moves to P/11, and initiates a Bull Rush against Morin.
Strength Check: [dice]1d20+6+8[/dice]
If this fails, it's Game Over for Mother Nature...[/ooc]
[ooc] alright, i get an AoO for the bull rush (for the movement too, but i don't have combat ref's).
Talon [dice]1d20+35-6[/dice] Damage [dice]3d6+20+12[/dice]
str check [dice]1d20+15+4[/dice] [/ooc]
[ooc]Elder Air Elemental AC: 27 HP: 162/204
Your turn.[/ooc]
[ooc] Full attack you.
4 point power attack.
- Bite used for a trip attack (improved trip = no AoO)
touch attack [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] Opposed str check [dice]1d20+15+4+4[/dice]
if you trip you, then i get a bite attack [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] damage [dice]2d6+12+4[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+4[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+4[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+30-4[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+4[/dice]
- Talon [dice]1d20+25-4[/dice] damage [dice]3d6+20+4[/dice]
- Foreclaw [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] damage [dice]1d4+12+4[/dice]
- Foreclaw [dice]1d20+35-4[/dice] damage [dice]1d4+12+4[/dice]
[/ooc]
[ooc]I trip, no check necessary, I can't beat a 30, and you tear me to tiny, leaf-covered pieces. My elemental disappears and you win, again.[/ooc]
[ic]As the crowd roars at Morin's victory, a lone man flies onto the field and gathers Mother Naure's remains in a bubble of force energy. He floats off again quickly and quietly, not wanting to distract the crowd from Morin's victory.[/ic]
[ooc]and i believe that's about done.
Good game man. Sorry to keep doing this to you.[/ooc]
[ic=Morin] As it's master is torn apart, the elmental dissapears in a burst of mist. Just before landing the killing blow, Morin morphs her mouth back long enough to say, "I do not wish to do this to a sister of nature, but I am sorry. Survival of the fittest. I am higher on the chain." and with that she tears out the woman's throat with her jaws and begins to feed before she is driven off by arena gaurds and the woman's team mates.[/ic]
