Title: World of Darkness Diner (very early stages/gauging interest)
Post by: khyron1144 on December 13, 2012, 08:12:24 PM
You can get anything you want
At Alice's Restaurant

-Arlo Guthry

This is an idea I've had for a while.

In a nutshell, I want to try and develop as a fan project something sort of like Precinct 13 or Asylum, but about food service.

See, I think a lot more people can relate easily to food service than to law enforcement or medical professions.  In many ways this is probably a somewhat less ambitious project than Genius or Princess.

Does this idea have any merit?

Well, I started this as a thread on rpg.net (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?667850-World-of-Darkness-Alice-s-Restaurant-(very-early-stages-gauging-interest)) using my earliest working title for the concept: Alice's Restaurant, before someone suggested World of Darkness   Diner. It might help to know a little about the current World of Darkness game/setting or the genres of urban fantasy and supernatural horror. It doesn't hurt to know of the existence of such World of Darkness fan projects as Princess:  the Hopeful or Genius: the Transgression, but it's certainly not mandatory either, considering that I'm not familiar with them myself.

"Curly Seasoned, or traditional?"

"Traditional, with A-... blood spread.. Also is your blood spread Gelatinized naturally or artificially?"

Mostly what I know is that it gets a thread or two in Tabletop Roleplaying Open over on RPG.net.

This seems to be the current thread (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?647422-Princess-the-Hopeful-Thread-6-%28Sailor%29-Nothing-Can-Stop-Us-Now!), and it's thread six.  At around a thousand posts a thread, that's a lot of activity.

I'm so happy to know that that exists.
