Title: May News

What's new on the CBG lately?

Xathan has posted a new setting, called Keldora (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209892.html), which he describes as "arcanopunk," involving clashes of mythological beings as well as weird science-fantasy. There isn't a lot there yet, but it is worth a look!

Nomadic has some new stuff, too. If sci-fi is your thing (or maybe even if it isn't), it's worth checking out Beyond Frontier (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209888.html), a gritty hard sci-fi setting about "post-nationalism and the new cultural paradigm."

HippopotamusDundee continues to flesh out "Lovecraft Holmes," which you can read about in the setting thread (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209885.html) and then post your thoughts in the discussion thread (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209886.msg223082.html#new).

Oh, and somebody might have posted a setting called The First Age (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209887.html), too. But I don't know much about that.

If you're looking to play in a play-by-post game, Raelifin's City of the Chosen (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209860.html) will be opening up to new players very soon; the discussion thread is here (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209838.0.html).

How do you feel about retcons? (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209881.msg223036.html#new) A good question.

Finally, if all this is too grandiose, why not take a break and munch on a trail ration (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209882.msg222978.html#new), and then contemplate its role in your games?
