It's been a bit quiet around here lately, and I've been rather busy, so my apologies for not updating this in a while.
What's new around the CBG?
Seraphine_Harmonium's Cad Goleor game (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209688.html) has started having regular sessions again. It uses the Q&D system and takes place in an Celtic-themed world.
Ghostman has updated the Savage Age (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,75347.html) recently.
Steerpike's Cadaverous Earth (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,56772.html) has also been discussed lately. If you like macabre but always well-written settings, then take a look! (Steerpike's Tenebrous (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209918.html) is also worth a look!)
Want to talk about Races (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209913.html)? No, Paula Deen, you're not allowed in this thread.
We tend to be a fairly intellectual (that's a nice way of saying nerdy) lot around here. So, we often like to put a decent amount of research (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209861.html) into our settings.
Do you have an avatar? Explain yourself! (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,11889.html)
Could you give a shout out to The Blood of Tyrants (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209916.0.html) specifically?
As far as I know, it is the CBG's newest setting project.
+1,000,000 Awesome Points for the Paula Deen burn.
Take that, Paula Deen.
(I've been convinced for a long while now that she's really just Cthulhu in a human suit.)
