Title: News Update
Post by: sparkletwist on February 17, 2014, 03:10:41 PM
First, an important message about wiki access:

Recently, we've had something of an outbreak of spam on the wiki. We're doing what we can to prevent this from being an issue in the future, but, for the time being, a lot of wiki accounts are being blocked in an effort to keep the impact to a minimum. If you recently created an account for the wiki and found your access inexplicably blocked, you were probably caught up in this. Please send a PM to sparkletwist so that your access to the wiki can be reinstated.

Anyway, what else is new around here?

Xathan has started a community project called Endless Planes (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210067.html), so drop in and contribute your own weird and wonderful plane to our multiverse! (Xathan also continues to work on his own Keldora (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210059.0.html), so don't forget to take a look at that, too!)

Hoers's Haveneast (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210047.msg226694.html#msg226694) game continues on. Take a look at the Kingdom of the Goat-Witch (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210026.msg227162.html#new) thread for details.

Seraphine_Harmonium continues to work on Gravenmore (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210049.0.html); the thread is called the "beginnings of a setting" but the amount of detail continues to grow.

Dark Souls (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,209944.msg224595.html#msg224595) remains pretty popular around here, so of course there's a discussion thread for that, too.

If you like physics (or donuts) then take a look at the physics of a torus world (http://www.thecbg.org/index.php/topic,210063.0.html).

I am rather surprised that Penumbra and the Clockwork Abattoir game have not been mentioned here, since they've been so active, and together have 4 threads in the recent feed.

It was in the last update. For this one, I figured that the aforementioned four threads was more than enough visibility and I would instead highlight some other stuff. :)

Every time I see one of these threads, it gives me the urge to be more active.

Give in to that urge. You know it is the only option.
