special note: Battle area is capped with a wall of force 80 ft up connected to the battle area's walls.

From SRD:
Extreme heat (air temperature over 140Ã,° F, fire, boiling water, lava) deals lethal damage. Breathing air in these temperatures deals 1d6 points of damage per minute (no save). In addition, a character must make a Fortitude save every 5 minutes (DC 15, +1 per previous check) or take 1d4 points of nonlethal damage. Those wearing heavy clothing or any sort of armor take a -4 penalty on their saves. In addition, those wearing metal armor or coming into contact with very hot metal are affected as if by a heat metal spell.

[ooc]Well, the misc bonus is from the fact that I get to add my Cha bonus to all of my saves.  The temp bonus was from last match when I used a Potion of Eagle's Splendor, which brought my Cha bonus up to +4.  But, since I'm about to drink another one anyway, I'll leave it.[/ooc]

[ooc] umm... just realised that not only was the first attack a critical threat, but so are both of these.
so confirming
charge [dice]1d20+8+2+3+1+3[/dice] and the damage would be 56 points (25 and the 3 from the str i forgot about, double for the crit. and yes, i believe that the touch spell gets the crit too, since it is getting cast using a melee strike instead of a meelee touch and the sword has a 15-20 crit range instead of the 20 of a touch. If i'm wrong about this, then the damage is 36)

[ooc]What a suprise, I'm dead.  -67 HP  And I wasn't taking any heat damage until this turn because I'm not wearing any armor and I only drew my sword on the turn before combat.  But, seeing as I drop my sword as I die, I don't think I need to make the heat check now.

EDIT: WHen I started posting, there was no critical post above this one...[/ooc]

[ooc]-67 actually. I can't believe i rolled 3 crits in a row and confirmed all of them.
Oh, i didn't realise you weren't wearing your armour. I guess that explains the really low AC.[/ooc]
