A tall figure wearing all deep red leather and a bone coloured death mask enters doing as series of handsprings, flips and spins, then lands on the sands in a crouch. At some point in his acrobatics, he drew a sword hilt from which now projects a shimmering red blade. He stands with a hiss and glares at his opponent. He doesn't so much as glance at his partner though - they have fought together long enough that there is no need for communication.

She then focuses intently, and chants an ancient arcane sentence. As she speaks, wings grow from her back, great fiery wings like those of a pheonix.

Frightful Attack is a Ghost-Faced killer class feature and is a mind affecting, fear effect (CAd)
Staggering Strike is also form CAd.
Hamstring is from CW.
Dragon Bile is just a poison.
Steal Spell effect is a spellthief class feature (CAd once more).
So you are staggered and shaken for your next turn, and then shaken for two more after that. also you are at half ground movement speed until you recieve healing.
also, it won't matter for now since you couldn't make the DC46 save anyways, but shouldn't your fort save be significantly higher? a level 16 barb should have 10 base, not 5.

couple of comments on wexian.
- As a lvl20 equivalent, you have 720,000gp to spend. as far as i can tell, you've spent only a fraction of this.
- if you use the wings, you can't cast or use a weapon. if you rage, you can't cast. a lot of contradicting powers.
- why do you have 5 weapons and an EWP feat? your caracter doesn't seem particularily martially focused. you could have made due with a single really good martial weapon.
- i think you may have 1 too many feats IIRC (also, why not take inp. toughness instead of normal toughness. it gives an extra 13 hp).
- on the subject of hp, with average rolls, you should have about 145 hp. did you just get a bad roll or forget to include something?
- since you are a gestalt, you take the best of certain elements from both classes. you don't seem to have done this. you should have d12 HD, Base Fort +10, Ref +5, Will +10, BAB +16/+11/+6/+1, 10 skill points/level (4 barb, 1 human, 5 int bonus) chosen freely from either skill list.
These should help to boost your character to the power level he should be at. If you want some advice on putting him together (feat/spell/gear selection, etc), just let me know and i'd be glad to help. or, if you wat me to bugger off so you can do this yourself, then that's cool too.
If your guy gets buffed up, i'd be up for a rematch too.

Yes, I probably should retool this character. To be honest, I used a character creation program for most of her, so some parts are probably buggy. I'm going to go over her and make sure everything is up to par.
