Information removed.

There's been a development that requires the removal of this world from the board. My apologies.

I like your creation myth, but what happened to the reptilians?  Wouldn't they have been on the same islands as the elves?

In the cities, you mention humans and elves, but there is no mention of them in the creation myth.  Is the myth the distant past and these races arose after the islands were in the sky?  Or were they not involved in the war?

How high do these islands float?  And are they geostationary or do they drift?  Are there more than the ones listed?

How do the people of Synopos travel between the cities?  Flight? Teleportation?
What kinds of enemies are faced?  Airborn monsters?  Was anything unexpected or unwanted brought up?
How are relations between the races since the cities became airborne?

One thing that bugs me a bit is--If the races had always been at peace, it seems unlikely that they would have had a standard army prepared.  Is there a reason why they would choose to keep up an army?

I'm sorry to anyone who as interested in this. I was working with a partner, and he's informed me that he'd prefer the ideas remain private for now, so I've removed all the information.

That's a shame.... you could probably get a lot of good help from the people here.
