I've been a bad boy... again... and abandoned the Guild for quite a while (again.) The last semester just royally kicked my butt. I had a nasty latin prose composition class (first time I've ever had to really work hard just to pass) and a whole bunch of IRL drama (both in the literal theatrical sense, and the non-literal "my friends are all young adults but we act like we're still 14 sometimes" sense.)
I should be back to stay this time, however. I've got an article I'm working on (almost done, I promise ElDo!) for the next issue of the CBG, and another little surprise that I've been toying with. In the following thread, I expect all the old-timers who remember me to come and systematically haze me for having been gone so long, and people who don't remember me to stop by and say "'sup"
Edit: Just so I have *some* content and this thread actually has some purpose, I just recently rediscovered the old Real Men, Real Roleplayers, Loonies and Munchkins list here. (http://users.tkk.fi/~vesanto/link.fun/players.txt) If you've never seen it before, it's a little bit old-school but much of the humor still resonates. It basically breaks down players into 4 categories and examines how each of them react to various situations.
SUP!
Not much, yo.
Whoa, I thought I saw a ghost!
Welcome back.
I tawt I thaw a ghost! I did I did!
Hey dude, welcome back. *Haze*
I hope you stay around this time. ;)
I hope I stay around this time, too. I've got several projects designed to lure me back. My Tasothilos setting is being completely revised, and I've got two others I'm gonna post bits and pieces of as well. Then there's an article or three I'm gonna write for the Guide, and a special top-secret project I'm working on that I think people might like.
From one Trium to another; you were sorely missed during your absence. (Whether or not newbies know it.)
I remember the Age of the Trium well, as well as (and more importantly, I'd wager) Tasothilos. I'm anxious to see what you've been pondering on during your absence. It's good to have you back.
;) Túrin
Tasothilos has undergone some major changes, (most significantly, I've modified the 'tons of islands' format, while keeping the importance of the sea...) but don't you worry, I'm still working on it. As soon as my computer access regularizes and my article for the Guide is done (read: sometime around Fridayish) I'll start posting a little bit at a time.
