It is midday, and a large boat is pulling up to harbor on your home island. Water on its sides glistens in the noonday sun, as does the figurehead on its prow, carved and painted as a great red bird with head plumage in the vague shape of a crown. Emblazoned upon the side of the ship is the name of the boat, the Phoenix Royal. As the sailors tie it onto the dock, a well-dressed halfling disembarks, carrying a large scroll, from which he reads aloud, his voice magnified by some spell: "By decree of his Royal Highness King Willian Riversbend IV of Perigan, I hereby anounce a celebrations of his century of life, to be held in three months time in the city of Kanotch, taking the form of a great tournament and feast, where any whp wish may test their skill at arms and magic, and that the ship that lies docked behind me shall be the manner of transport to the mainland."

Im looking for a 4-5 member party, ECL 4, using 28 point buy and the following sources:
PHB, DMG, MM, CA, RotW, PHB2.  I might allow the rest of the complete and races series if i can get my friend to let me borrow them. Equip your characters as normal Z(5400 gp starting)

Character Background and Description

(Works as a magician, using his magic, Bluff, and Sleight of Hand to pull it off. Over the years, he has gained money off the street in a mix of legal and illegal ploys. Due to the fact that through his magic and his Bluff combined, he has slipped from the authorities each time he has been caught, and has developed something of an invincibility complex because of it.  He's currently on the run from some people, who, to put it well, didn't quite like the deal they struck with him.)

Character Background and Description

Darien was born in a small orchish tribe as "Derekna". He was a prodigal combatant, besting many more experienced combatanta due to his sharp mind for tactics that allowed him to use his tribemates berserker fighting style against them. There was a nearby dwarven citadel that his tribe had a running war against and he was immpressed by how the orchish warriors would simply break upon their shield wall. He began to sneak away and secretly spy on and study the dwarves. He developed his fighting style which merged both cultures. He spent more and more time stalking the dwarves until he decided he had learnt all he could and left into the world to hunt for new was of waging war to ammalgamate into his patchwork style.
