Title: Sir Apropos of Nothing
Post by: Epic Meepo on April 03, 2007, 03:11:28 PM
Has anyone else read Sir Apropos of Nothing by Peter David?
(For those who haven't, its a very good fantasy satire, and I'd highly recommend it.)

For those who have read it, do you think that any parts of it were meant as a reference to D&D? Also, what would you say Apropo's alignment happens to be?

Yes, I have.
Yes, the author has stated such.
I'd say CN(g).

By the second book he's pretty much  purely CE (Woad to Wuin) but  the book is so bogged down in the middle as to be almost unreadable.

I never read the third volume (Tong Lashing). Does he manage to bring the series back to life?

(By the by, in case anyone is trying to look it up, the first title is actually Sir Apropos of Nothing, and the author is Peter David. Sorry, I'm a librarian...)
