I like it!

Some of the articles are very motivating, both for worldbuilding, and for campaigns. Good job to everybody who worked on it!

Oh! And the news in the editorial caught me by suprise. I'm waiting to see how that affects things...

I particularly enjoyed the article on languages and the Common Tongue.  I shall have to be thinking a bit more about that on my campaign soon. . .

Yeah, I thought that was a really good article as well.

Michael's contribution was excellent. I hope it will help in the extermination of thoughtless Common tongues.

I also liked some of the suggestions Stargate made in his piece about border defense. Especially the underground part. It should be quite possible to make an underground fortress that just can't be taken as long as its men defend it.

Yeah, I actually just read the Border Patrol article for the first time, and it's really good.  Bravo, stargate.  Are you planning on continuing to contribute to the guide?

I think he mentioned in the article that he planned to have a follow-up. I hope so, because it really was a good article....

This was part two of his series that he started in the last Guide, and he announced part three in it. So I'm fairly sure there will be a part three. Which is good, because part one and part two were both well-written.

I posted this as a comment on the front page to the release of issue 4, but will post here too. Can anyone send out announcements about the CGGuide or should it be the moderators? I was thinking about gamingreport.com in particular.

You can send out announcements, but I would prefer to proofread (or even just write them from scratch) any announcements you make; not that it's a big deal, but there's already been a couple announcements on other sites that could have been a bit ... shall we say, better?

 :shy:
You're making me blush...

There's definitely going to be a part three on magical borders, and I'm toying with the idea of having articles four and five being example border stations.

As for other articles, I'd count on it, considering the end of border patrol will land me square in my summer vacation, so lots of time to write.
