Changeling Rogue or Bard. Just sheer fun of playing this is beyond discripting.

half-elf bards. Any spellcaster. I've never played the fighter. Also, for some reason i can't stand dwarves.

The most fun I've had in a campaign was with a human barbarian.

I've had some fun with a half-elf sorceror. out of the core classes, half-elf seems the best suited for an illusionist, as they already can disguise themselves as two other races fairly well.

That said, I don't think I could hold too much bias in either classes or races. One thing I'd eventually like is to be able to say I've played with every core race/class combo possible. I'm not going to do the math, but that's more then plenty characters to play, and that's only core.

Edit- I think I probably should make it clear that by "every core race/cass combo", I wasn't taking multiclassing into account. I can always save that for later :)

The alignment, though subtle, is splashed with shades from the brushes of law and evil, though the paint be the brash and all-too bold hues of an evoker. The artist can accomplish this only through practice and intellect, his schemes and forethought leading to his wretchedly wonderful masterpiece.

My longest-running and favorite character was a LE elf wizard named Elador Orvead d'Metrium, Lord Wyrmcloak of the Darkhaven Estate. He corrupted a righteous paladin, he bargained with demons, he created an army of killers and thieves where before existed only unshaped men.

To be an archmage.

I think the most fun character I can remember playing was a dwarven rogue/fighter.  I don't remember why, but I just remember having a great time with him.

Rogues are my favourite class.  Racewise, I like elves although I've never played an elven rogue, now I think about it...

Elven wizard. With the appropriate tools (read feats, scrolls, and wands) and emergency plans to handle any situation the DM may throw at me. ^^

Human Sorc/Wiz/Cleric of Boccob. Yes, he's a sorc who was taught as a wizard and then became a priest.

How do you prevent this build from sucking? Learn all the non-DC spells with the wizard, heals and buffs from the cleric and DC and spamcast spells with the sorc. And get high charisma. :P
