Title: Feature Request
Post by: daggerhart on April 03, 2006, 11:01:17 PM
someone mentioned a request thread.

Quote from: Nat20Just an idea, is there a way to notify people they have a PM? Right now people go into the forums and never see a PM that's been sitting there for a while because a notification only shows up on the main page.

we can easily make it so that the default frontpage is the main page.

.. its what i use, considering the 'new forum post' section pretty much keeps up to date.

Still people can set their favorites bar to go straight to the forums.  I would, but I have read or at least skimmed every thread on the forums and so I use the new posts to keep up.

also,

we could make the forum display inside of the two outer columns (on the other pages).

...  but it would pretty much waste 50% of the screen once you scroll past the columns.

I was just suggesting something be done, i'm not too sure what to do about it.  Oh, and is there a way to stop the e-mail every time I recieve a PM?  I can't seem to turn it off, and I'm here often enough that I don't need it.
