Excellent issue!
Loved the new race described, the interview was awesome, the contest winning entries were great and may get some use in by Eberron campaign and the World Building Diary was very informative.
Keep up the good work. And I promise I will try and get some article written for a future guide.
Good, Ravenspath! The more people we can get involved, the better the issues will become.
Congratulations to everyone involved, an excellent issue. I have a feeling that there are great things in store for these staffers and contributors. ;)
My thoughts on the articles:
Editorial, by Natural 20: Gracious and respectful, a good way to start off. I think you'll get more comfortable with writing them as time wears on, I never really got the hang of it myself.
Florians article, by Senke: Holy crud, it's been a while since I've seen that name! An interesting plant-based creature, I think I remember reading it way back when. Definitely an appropriate inclusion, and the mechanics seem solid. The continuation on a further page was an interesting formatting choice, and I think it worked.
Loved the Gag Gifts when they were written, love them now. Nuff said.
Border Patrol: Great series of articles, for DMs and worldbuilders alike. Keep up the good work, Stargate!
Trevor Gamblin's Garden Gargoyles are practically begging to be tried out. I'll let you know my opinion on it after my players have torn one to shreds!
Turin, you are becoming a master at interviews. I enjoyed it wholeheartedly, and the questions were researched and insightful. Props to you.
Ish- I've read various drafts of your article, but I'll confess that I haven't gotten around to reading the final product. It looks great though, and I'm sure that once I get into it, I'll be even more impressed; kudos to you and those who helped.
So, in summation: Keep up the good work!
I loved this issue. My only issue is with the editing in the Florian article: there are a few typos, one of which occurs in the first sentence, and they detract from what is otherwise a great article.
Other than that, I can only concur with Dorito's own summation.
