For the July 07 contest, PlotStorming.com (http://www.plotstorming.com/) wants you to Inspire Us! Help stoke the flames and provide plenty of fuel for creative engines. To enter the contest you don't need to write a complete work, but create multiple smaller prompts and seeds. Each entry must be a number of Writing Prompts, Plot Seeds, and/or Site Seeds that combined meets the minimum word count (1000 words).
Writing Prompt: Every day PlotStorming.com provides a 'Daily Creative Writing Prompt (http://www.plotstorming.com/inspiration/),' and its time for you to take a swing at writing them.
Plot Seed: A Plot Seed is an idea for a short story, but unlike a blueprint the seed could generate numerous and different short stories.
Site Seed: A Site Seed is a window to the imagination '" its a snapshot of a fantastic vista or locale that others could use as settings for future stories or adventures.
Summary:
Format: Any combination of Writing Prompts, Plot Seeds, and Site Seeds
Concept: Create short snippets of inspiration for us to enjoy
Word Cap: No more than 100 words per Prompt or Seed
Word Count: 1000 to 2500 words
Judging and Prizes:
The judges for the contest will be the community. Creativity, originality, and quality will be the keys. The community will nominate the individual that created the most inspiring Prompt or Seed.
The contest winners will receive a prize. The three with the most votes will win merchandise from Amazon.com (whatever they want; to be determined once results are finalized). The value of the merchandise can meet but not exceed (including any taxes and shipping) the following values:
* 1st: $30 + $0.01 per word (max $55)
* 2nd: $10 + $0.01 per word (max $35)
* 3rd: $0.01 per word (max $25)
