O_O the title says it all.

(Moderate timing, the three D's are a triplet, and each cord until the measure with D's is 4 beats, the first D is 2, the second is one, and the triplet is one. The next measure they are all eighths, with the final one tied to a three beat note.)
also, I'm trying to figure out which minor key I should use for the rest of the song.
What key is it in right now? (sorry, I don't read guitar tablature)
C. Also, (for the tab illiterate people) Here are the chords:
E C G Am E C Am D D DDD Am Am A7 E.
Well, if it's in C, you can always modulate to Em or Am pretty easily. Or you could do something wacky and go to Gm, either by using a flat 7th from C, or even as using the D major chord as a five-of-five chord. Go music!
Also, from my metronome, timing is 120. I'll have lyrics for the intro by the end of the weekend.
You sound like you're in E minor to me. Those are E minor chords, not E's. I'll need to see more before I can really give a fair amount of input, but right now it sounds like it'd be fit to go into a long progression of these chords with variations on them from time to time, using string-to-string and string-skipping patterns while picking instead of just strumming the chords.
Yeah, I was curious if those E chords were supposed to be E-minors; just looking over the progression (without actually hearing it), that made more sense to me, but then again, I don't write other peoples' music for them ;)

and there's the last bit for a while.
I tried the intro, and the chord changes seem too rapid for me. Maybe if you tried squeezing in an extra bar for each chord, that might help it a bit. Keep in mind, though, I'm playing it on my acoustic, because my electric is out in the other room.
Hmmm...haven't messed around with this in a while, I'll check it out, though. Thanks!
Alright, some changes to be made, not enough time right now: intro chords are triplets (eighth or sixteenth notes); extra measure after each triplet.
Okay, now that I've gone over your first riff and first verse, it seems a little..... I dunno, unfocused. I think it might be because you're using the same exact fret patterns on both of the strings, almost immediately followed arpeggios on every single string in the chord, in order. Personally, I think arpeggios sound best when they aren't just each guitar string plucked from a chord. Examples of this would be Don't Speak, by No Doubt, or Nothing Else Matters, by Metallica. As for the bit where you go from one string to the next on the same frets (then change the fret and repeat), may i suggest you try the second fret instead of the first? (edit- oh, and maybe adding a fourth note in those, so that it goes from strings 2-1-2-1, 2-1-2-1, instead of just 2-1-2, 2-1-2, 2-1-2? Just a thought)
I'll try to get to that last bit later, but no promises on when "later" might be. Hope this much helps :)
