In the middle of the earth, in the land of the Shire, there's a brave little Hobbit whom we all admire.... (http://youtube.com/watch?v=XC73PHdQX04)
No matter how many times I see it, it never gets any less horrifying.
Agreed.... I first heard that song back in 1996, and have never been able to forget about it :(
The weirdest thing to me is that his smile looks genuine. Like, he knows what he's doing. And he LIKES IT.
WHY??????
WHY?? Did someone do that to me again. I had forgot about that. I had wiped it from my mind. It was sooo illogical. DARN YOU! DARN YOU LIKE A SOCK!
There are no words to describe that experience...but there is an emote I find particularly apporpriate for this: :explode:
Never seen the video before, but I've definitely heard the song. I'm going to end up watching the video, I know it, but I suspect the video only makes things worse...
Edit- OK, so one of the comments on the video asked how he managed to get the girls to dance on that video. I'd like to add, more to the point, how did he manage to get anybody to dance like that on that video??
Uncut is better quality (though it's greyscale). (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRrhMDu9VmM&NR=1)
:wtf: :explode:
What I'd just love is to casually meet Leonard and convince him to go to a movie, and then get the theater crew to play that as a trailer and then shine a spotlight on him. X-D
$10 says he'd go all berserk and kill everyone in the theater.
Quote from: Raelifin$10 says he'd go all berserk and kill everyone in the theater.
Nonsense. He's a (half-)Vulcan, he can control such urges.
[blockquote Elven Doritos]Nonsense. He's a (half-)Vulcan, he can control such urges. [/blockquote]
I beleive you mean he can (half-)control those urges.
...
...
*insert brain-explode emote here*
Only overuse of '...' could really describe what I was feeling here.
:hammer:
Maybe if that hammer was hitting the guys head about 10x more rapidly and 10x harder, and it was traded for a kris coated in black widow poison, then :hammer: would work.
indeed.
This... hurt me.
In the middle of the earth in the land of the Shire
lives a brave little hobbit whom we all admire.
With his long wooden pipe,
fuzzy, woolly toes,
he lives in a hobbit-hole and everybody knows him
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
He's only three feet tall
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
The bravest little hobbit of them all
Now hobbits are a peace-lovin' folks you know
They don't like to hurry and they take things slow
They don't like to travel away from home
They just want to eat and be left alone
But one day Bilbo was asked to go
on a big adventure to the caves below,
to help some dwarves get back their gold
that was stolen by a dragon in the days of old.
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
He's only three feet tall
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
The bravest little hobbit of them all
Well he fought with the goblins!
He battled a troll!!
He riddled with Gollum!!!
A magic ring he stole!!!!
He was chased by wolves!!!!!
Lost in the forest!!!!!!
Escaped in a barrel from the elf-king's halls!!!!!!!
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
The bravest little hobbit of them all
Now he's back in his hole in the land of the Shire,
that brave little hobbit whom we all admire,
just a-sittin' on a treasure of silver and gold
a-puffin' on his pipe in his hobbit-hole.
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
He's only three feet tall
Bilbo! Bilbo! Bilbo Baggins
The bravest little hobbit of them all
He's not a bad singer. It was just the worst any thing serious actor could have done. The cartoon movies were crap; Tolkien himself hated them. LoTR needed a guy like Peter Jackson to be pulled off properly.
Am I the only one who found that video funny as hell?
Negative. I found it absolutely gut busting. I just chose to comment on Nimoy's good vocal performance.
