Discuss Issue 7 of the Guide here.
Awesome! Nathan's Uncommon EVIL is totally freakin' awesome! I can't wait to read the rest of this Guide. :)
Edit: Woohoo! Finished it in one sitting! The Guide just keeps getting better and better. :D
Small question: I noticed the copyright on the articles. I assume I can still use stuff from the Guide in my campaigns? Even completely unchanged?
'nother small question: is Rose no longer on the staff? Speaking of Rose, I haven't seen him in a while, is he still around?
Edit the edit: only three posts from him since August 22. What's up with that?

This issue was great, as is to be expected. Keep up the good work.

Personal, private use is fully protected. Though granting express permission is a good point, and I'll be sure to include it in issue 8. It's all fair use though, and really, nobody is going to care. ;)
Rose has become more or less disinterested in world building and has decided to back away from the site. We've had far too many changes of hands, so we decided to not make a big deal out of it. I still have regular contact with him though and he does lurk from time to time.

Good.

Meh, not an excuse. I never get around to worldbuilding anymore, but I do get around to visiting this site. :P

I'm still around dude, always watching. ;)
EDIT: Also, I have recently been dabbling in world-building and other literary exploits. However, this is a conversation for a different thread. Try this one (http://www.thecbg.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?30370.0).
I really enjoyed Nathan's Uncommon Evil and the Campaign Builders Diary in this edition. Very sound read all throughout though.
Kudos!

I really appreciate the kind words Turin and Ivar! I'm hoping, aiming to craft a couple more villains for the next Guide.
And I hope people do use my villains in their campaigns. If you do, and you have some time, drop by PlotStorming.com and tell me how it went! It should be entertaining for all.
I also downloaded the CBG#7. I haven't read all yet, but so far I really liked the articles "Uncommon Evil" and "Building Better Villains". Very good read, that's for sure, especially considering what little help DMs get from official side (*cough*Book of Vile Darkness*cough*).
Anyways, just a few questions/comments on the Guide itself.
#1: I know with ~30 pages it's not really an issue, but would it be possible to include bookmarks? I can't help it, but a magazine like file without bookmarks feels sort of "naked" to me.
#2: The borders/colorscheme don't look very "inspired". Yes, they are functional and all, but it doesn't really look all that shiny and pretty. It seems not to match well with each other, colors as well as textures.
I don't know about the exact options Scribus offers, but perhaps we could work out a better colorscheme with more suitable borders? Just a suggestion, thou. The CBG is still an excellent piece of work, and I really appreciate all the devotion you guys put into it. :)
For the bookmarks, I'll let Raelifin handle that, he's the chief editor, I was really more of a collector-of-articles :)
However, I will say, I think the biggest issue with the borders is the more image-intensive pdfs are, the longer they take to open and view properly. PDFs are weird beasts when it comes to documents, and they seem to compile every tiny little piece of information multiple times as you view the documenet. However, the further we go along with Guides (which is hopefully for a long, long time), the more detail we'll put into them, I imagine.
