This is the discussion thread for the November Contest (http://thecbg.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?40134). Have fun!

The Pumpkin God. Very entertaining. I think this is a perfect contest that certainly takes well into consideration all of the community's thoughts. I won't say that I'm going to participate, but I can say that I plan on making an entry. I greatly look forward to seeing what else comes of it.
oooo, this contest looks like a ton of fun. I'm have several ideas already - is it legal to post a new setting (one that I have been working on but haven't posted) and use that setting for this contest, or must it be a setting that was created prior to the contest?
I don't really have a setting at the moment. The Archipelago (anyone remember?) is dead and buried. I do have a few campaigns I'm running, but they all take place in a fairly standard D&D world.
So, can I still enter the contest? And if so, what should I do about the campaign world guideline?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just created a setting (kinda) and I can use that for my NPC.
The setting I'm working on now is all tropical, and thus has no autumn. I protest this pro-temperate bias! ;)
Yours has an autumn Mith, it's the period between the dry and rainy seasons in tropic environs.
Looks like there's some good participation already, very nice! I may even give this one a whirl.
Glad to see there's a decent level of interest this month! :)

Behold! The power of a contest prompt that is...
A.) brief,
B.) flexible and adaptable,
C.) relevant to each entrant's previous body of work!

Don't mean to be a pain, but I want to start working on my contest entry. :)
Oh, sorry Eclipse. If you're actually using a part of a setting you've created, that is fine. You may want to start posting about your new setting though, people like that kind of thing ;)
Aww, crap, didn't realize the deadline was yesterday. :( Still, good job everyone. *goes to read other submissions and vote*
Eclipse, hopefully you'll get in this next month, I think I have a pretty fun contest planned.
As long as I make sure to get the deadline right this time, I'm in. :P
