Hello everyone! My name upon the internet is "Dolalmoth", a name originating from a misspelling of "Dol Amroth" a city in lotr. My name is occasionally romanized as Dolalmothi or Dolalmothia and basically any other variation of it is me.
I draw intensely from basically anything with lots of epic-osity, and my campaigns and worlds often revolve around very epic things such as planeswalkers or very powerful devices. As a result my PCs tend to end up with plenty of money. I believe in awesome heroism and one man against an army, but I hated the movie 300 for its lack of plot.
I will conclude before I write a novel. Hope to now you all very well.

Welcome, dolalmoth. I hope you'll enjoy your membership. Check out The Rogue's Den for a place to fill out an introduction including all of your interest, strengths, etc.
Glad to have you here. If you want a really good one-man-against-an-army story, read the Tain Bo Cualigne. It's an Irish myth about the hero Cuchulainn, who has to singlehandedly defend the province of Ulster from the armies of Ireland.
As for 300, it did have a plot, it was just a really simple plot. Xerxes wanted Sparta+Leonidas didn't want to give it to him=Armies clash.
The Tain is much more fun! King & Queen compete for riches--> Queen wants bull of Ulster. Queen wants bull of Ulster+Drunken braggarts from Ulster=Armies of Ireland against Ulster. Armies of Ireland against Ulster+Curse of the Pangs of Ulster+Cuchulainn immune to curse=Cuchulainn must defend Ulster completely alone.
Welcome Dolamoth. I hope you enjoy it here. Feel free to pick our brains for comments and advice, that's why we're here.
Welcome aboard.
In the words of another group I was once a part of.
Welcome to hell.
Don't worry though, its actually rather pleasant. The snack bar is out back and Snargash mans the souvenir stand every Wednesday. I hear there is currently a special on vile texts and vreeg brand leather whips.
Welcome.
Saga is good and I was trying to tell these people that but it is still a ripoff of Dune and Star Wars combined. It is important to make sure you read Dune, too.
