I found this online test that determines what D&D race, class & alignment you are based on a lengthy series of questions. I enjoyed the test and found it quite accurate, so I figured why not share this discovery with every one else. I think it'll be pretty cool to see what race/class/alignment every one is.
Now remember, answer the questions truthfully!

It also asks a question about how much life experience you have for your age. I would guess that those work together to determine your level.

Again, the questions often drove me to distraction, if only for their explanations, the, "Because..." parts.
Like the one about being imprisoned...was I imprisoned unfairly or not???
Do I rely on the government to enforce social contracts?? I believe in the concept but have severe doubts that most people have enough intelligence to come in out of the rain...
and so on....
I agree. There were things on that list that I couldn't give a good answer to because they were dependent on the situation, which we don't know.

There seems to be a big issue with this test, though... I think it tallies "average" scores as being 12-14, when according to D&D a stat of 10-11 is average. That may significantly change how high your stats go.

Yeah, that. The questions made a lot of assumptions about situations that are way beyond "multiple choice" complexity.
Quote from: Epic MeepoSomeone needs to tell this quiz that no one ever multiclasses as a wizard/sorcerer!
Ultimate Magus, my friend, Ultimate Magus. As a kobold with access to Dragonwrought goodness, you should know better than to demean a sorcerer multiclass. ;)
On another note, am I the only one to get an Evil alignment? Perhaps I should have, uh, fudged my answers a bit...now everyone
knows I want to take over the world....
Yeah, I guess you're just a jerk, Dice. :P
Somehow I'm a Neutral Good Human Bard. I thought my answers leaned towards the Chaotic, Wizardly, and Roguish when I was giving them.
Oh well, like all multiple choice internet-based personality tests it was grossly oversimplified.

This one is better than a lot of them I've seen, though. There were well over 100 questions. A lot of the time there are as few as 20.
Honestly, I'm shocked at the sheer number of Sorcerers here! I figured we'd all be Wizards, Bards and Rogues. Who knew we had such diversity here?

Quote from: Elemental_ElfHonestly, I'm shocked at the sheer number of Sorcerers here! I figured we'd all be Wizards, Bards and Rogues. Who knew we had such diversity here?
others'[/i] tales instead of making their own, and a wizard spends most of his time reading what others have done and putting it into practice, rather than creating their own spells and commenting on others. The average CBGer has a Charisma score and ego in the stratosphere, alters (and creates) worlds with a thought, has a particular repertoire of worldbuilding habits, and has an innate talent that cannot really be taught...yeah, sounds like a sorcerer to me! ;)

Quote from: Vreeg's Barolothere was a time when philosophers went to the church...but rarely now.
I'm not to sure about that, few people are Dawkins. And even then hes a scientist first. I think its the bleed of physical or "hard" scientists into philosophy that is part of the situation.
From personal experience (now that isn't a lot, I'm not as old and pretty much everyone on the boards) most philosphers are at least partly religious. A main branch of philosophy (metaphysics) is almost inherently religious/spiritual.
Personally I seem to have the lowest charisma out of everyone, yet still ended up a Sorcerer... go figure :p

Of course the irony is that I am about as intellectual as one can get and the thing says I am a cleric (probably my religious side affecting that though).
