I picked up my first DL book in high school, when I really needed something to read. By chance, I happened to start with the Kingpriest trilogy, so I lucked out when I started reading the original set. Was wondering if anyone else here was a reader?

I've read a lot of them (I probably have like 60-80? of them and have read some others)
I loved when I started reading them (I was 12?) but now I wouldn't read them, I find them pretty bad now.
My favorite though were the Chaos series, different books by different authors all about the Chaos invasion, the Draconian books, the original 3, a couple books about the Weasel Knight and the books about the great disaster (When the gods send a hammer shaped meteor to blow the crap out of a country, because it was too controlling, tipping the balance in favor of good). Might have been the Kingpriest trilogy.
I read the main trilogy (Dragons of a Seasonal Descriptive) about fifteen years ago, I remember it being decent, but never read any others.
Llum, that's the kingpriest trilogy all right. Some of them can be pretty bad, but many others are well-written.

I own the DL Campaign setting produced for 3.5. Its a good setting and has a wildly different feel compared to FR & Eberron. Other than the setting book, I haven't read much. Always wanted to but never got around to it :(
Yep, those were my first fantasy reads. Read the trilogy back in fifth grade, and I blame that for everything I do now.
I agree with Llum, I would have a hard time reading a lot of them now. I loved the two Draconian books! I think it's interesting that Llum mentioned those. I also rather enjoyed the Last Thane (best book on dwarves ever) and the Barbarian trilogy. Most of the core stuff was rather droll fantasy, looking back, but there were definitely gems I'd like to revisit.
And yeah, very different kind of setting. Oh how I miss Dragonlance. While the literature may not have been the best, the setting and characters still remain my favorite.
