After watching a rather interesting motorcycle race, you head home and decide to log onto the CBG Message Boards to see what silliness Elven Doritos is up to.

As your computer boots up, a jolt of electricity runs through your body! Suddenly, you find yourself in a virtual world, standing in an empty blue space, patterns running all across the walls and ceiling. Two beings approach you from either side as a chess board appears on the ground in front of you.

The first is statuesque in build, broad-chested and rather grim. One of his eyes is made of gold, and he wields a high-tech pistol. "That's my ticket out of here, kid. You and me-- chess, now."

The second runs forward. He is of average height and build, but curiously glows a bright blue from head to toe. "No! He is from the Master Control Program! You mustn't trust him... I will play chess with you!"

What do you do?

ReBoot. It was a show on cartoon network for three years, and it was also about the workings of computer programs, but from a radically different perspective than Tron.

Wikipedia has an article, I believe.

Oh, I remember that show.  Never really cared for it.  Still going with Tron.

Enzo all the way, though more because I would expect to be shot in the face before the game got very far.  Assuming we mean "older" Enzo, not the ADD kid.

Judging from the character description and the banner, I'd say, yes, this is the adult Matrix. ;)
