[blockquote=Stargate 525]You're in your campaign setting; which character are you most likely to be (not WANT to be, WOULD be)? [/blockquote]
Since I asked it, I guess I should be the first to answer it here. :)
If I were lucky and more motivated than I am, a teacher of some sort in an Arcane University. Probably in Dria. MAybe Inveran.
If I were not motivated, a peasant of some kind, probably an apprentice smith of some fashion.
I would probably be learning in a bard college.
Otherwise I might be studying magick at the Academia Oscura or an artificer maintaining an airship.
The greatest probability is that I would not have lived to see my 5th birthday. If by a stroke of luck I were to survive, I'd be a peasant, or a slave or some other simple low-class worker - and a bad one at that. If I were *really* fortuneous, I might have gotten the opportunity to learn some useful and suitable craft, such as being a potter.
Of corse, being born into nobility would make everything infinitely better and open up a whole world of opportunities. But the probability of that is just too low to seriously consider.
Very interesting thread. Sadly, I don't really have a setting so I can't contribute, but I like the idea.
Oh that's easy. I'd be TAMMUR!
If I was in Steerpike's setting, I'd be a (female) Lilix gunslinger (who the hell wouldn't?!).
Neither of my main settings are more than frameworks without background characters beyond emperors and provincial lords, or clan leaders, so no particular named character.
In my Celtic setting, I'd be a clan warrior (I prefer martial classes to caster classes) with the Roane bloodline - grants special 'sealwere' abilities: limited breath underwater and freedom of movement, one time per day Wild Shape into a marine mammal, 40' swim speed, etc.
In my Kaidan setting, I'd be a sorcerer (jugondo) rebel of the empire, helping out poor farmers.
In the setting I'm running as a DM (Free City of Zentiir), I'd be a Rakshasa spice merchant.
GP
Han Solo.

An unusual twist. Uh... well, too messy to be an Iskite, too ethical to be an Umbril, and not Tahr because somehow I don't see myself as a nomadic hunter. I guess that leaves Gheen? Well, I sing and enjoy fruit, so I guess that makes sense. As for occupation, maybe some kind of chronicler/storyteller/historian.

See, I took the question to imply that we were still alive, so I ruled out early death. Even from plague.
Ohh. Well in that case I'd still be TAMMUR. It was (believe it or not) modeled off my own experience anyway.
Tough question. Most of my favorite in-world types, I have little personally in common with.
