For a while now I've been wanting to run a low-magic, heroic fantasy (or sword & sorcery, if you want) campaign.
There seem to be two rulesets that can let me do this with d20...
Iron Heroes.
I've read glowing reviews of the Iron Heroes system, and seems to do basically everything to the d20 system to make it work for the kind of fantasy world that I envision.
Conan: The RPG.
Having compared reviews, the rules system seems pretty similar to Iron Heroes in a large number of ways, and it has the added bonus of coming with the world attatched. While I love worldbuilding, gaming in Conan's world every now and then would be great fun, and nothing's to stop me using the mechanics in a homebrew as well.
Which would you lot go for?
Do any of you know of any other possible d20 sets for this genre?
Thanks in advance...
By using a decision making technique steeped in tradition and lore (I flipped a coin), my sage advice is:
CONAN!
Obviously, I'd have to advise Iron Heroes.
I'm not biased or anything...
I'd say Iron Heroes, only because I've seen the Cnan movies, and they sucked. Besides, Iron Heroes had an awesome review... I think Limetom wrote it...
Iron Heroes looked alright. I know nothing about Conan. I'd say you should rework things yourself.

That is always the smart option if there are elements of both you like.
Fusion time!

although, i dont see how the setting is that big of a deciding factor; depending on your knowledge of the conn setting, you can implement it into iron heroes.
