As some know I'm a big fan of D&D 3ed. I have realized that it's going to be easyer to create my campaign in Gurps. This is where I run into a problem, I want to convert some of the monsters, races and such. Does any one have ideas on converting D20 to Gurps?

This is a really sticky thing to do because the two systems take very different approaches to gaming in general.  While I'm not particularly against conversions, it is good to realize up front that no conversion will be 100% perfect.  That said, here is the best advice I can give you without doing all the work for you:  convert the intent and not the actual numbers; you will never get Gurps to play like 3.5e (or any other system to play like 3.5e for that matter).

That said, here are some general suggestions:
Don't bother writing up classes for Gurps.  I might not even make templates.  Instead, make materials that facilitate building characters from scratch - lists of appropriate traits and skills, how to implement various ideas, invented martial arts styles or magical styles (assuming you use standard spell magic from Gurps), etc.

On converting races, I personally create a physiological template and social lenses.  This gives the players the ability to make a human raised by elves (or an elf raised by humans) more easily.  It also helps solidify the concepts of the races in your mind (which can be important).

Do NOT make templates for monsters.  There is no reason to ever completely stat out an NPC or opponent.  Just make a typical stat block and write up how any abilities work in play.  This saves time immensely.

If you need any help, feel free to PM me or just continue posting here.  I'll gladly give you all the aid I can, including anything I have in personal notes.  This is a big project, and frankly, if done well, I might nip off with the end product, too ;)

You were missed.

Lots has goneon here.  You'll notice a number of IRC games that play on different nights.
But the core is still the same.  We build stuff and help others build it.  We just also play a bit more in those creations.

Did you read This yet?

Ninja D!

There will be no great way to do this. However, assuming that you're using all original content, it should be easier to use GURPS to create the idea that you want than it ever would have been in D&D.
