[poll] What's your favorite non-human core race?

meh, elves i guess. but not drow. or haughtily played elves. more like the tolkenish-from-the-hobbit elves who constantly drunk themselves silly. Half-elves are good because they're elves guaranteed to not be the haughty kind. (but in the current edition they're just not a very good race, mechanically :()

I've never really liked dwarves. in any game. I think because I don't like the trade-off of mobility for endurance that generally goes along with dwarves. I want my characters/troops to be able to move. :)
