I'm planning on submitting a slice of fiction for the coming issue, and I was wondering if anyone would like their setting showcased through my writing.  I could always do my own setting, but that isn't much of a challenge.

So that you aren't trusting your opus to someone whose work you have little evidence of, here are a few exmples of my work:

If you're interested, do tell.  I am eager to flex my creative muscles, and make a contribution to the Guide.

Ooh!  That would be teh awesome!  I have a feeling this is going to be a popular thread.

Ifpherion (there's a link in my sig) would be cool, if you can do it. There are plenty of cities to write about, to connect to one of the issue's possible themes.

I can even link you to some short story segments i've written about it.

But even if you don't select my setting, I can't wait to read what you do end up writing.
‘Yes, one may live while never leaving their domicile. But then, they aren’t really alive. Exploring, adventuring, becoming a mercenary - whatever one may call it, it is the blood of the world that many are embracing now. Our reach is advanced nearly everyday, and the stars themselves are in our grasp. That is why I, and many others, continue to learn as we do.’

Not only do you get a little fiction about your setting, but having someone else try to do something with your setting is a great way to dig into some of those annoying little details.

I've been writing a little mini-adventure / random encounter for Xiluh, and believe me, it has resulted in my asking a lot of questions that I never would have thought of if I hadn't. Hopefully that's been more inspiring than annoying for sdragon. I know it has been fun for me.

I heartily recommend this if you are really interested in some in depth feedback.

You know (or should) my policy:
My work's surrendered willingly,
For fueling writers' heart-stoked fires
(when it's handled lovingly.)

Edit: To rephrase in plain English, I'm not going to deny anybody the chance to use the Jade Stage to run a game, or write a story, or however inspiration strikes. That's an open invitation to any of you guys.

But I also know that the Jade Stage will be getting its share of printspace in the guide shortly (via ElDo Worldwalkers), and I know that Salacious has worked closely with the Jade Stage in the past (and may wish to choose a different setting here, purely for a change of pace.) Mainly I am hoping that this will become a recurring feature, so we'll get multiple issues that showcase the work of many setting designers, and that treat readers to Salacious's dexterous prose.
I move quick: I'm gonna try my trick one last time--

I would enjoy seeing you do Vilydunn, though I don't know if you'd have enough information. If it comes down to you wanting to, and you do need more info, let me know.

Those who are interested and have an idea about what kind of tale they would like me to tell, post your suggestions (or PM them if you prefer).  Preferably, at least three suggestions for each setting.

Also, even though I'll only contribute one to the Guide this  month, I'll nevertheless write for as many settings I can get my ink-stained hands on, so you'll probably see your setting at some point, regardless.

Stargate525

Are you still doing this? If so, I'd be willing to surrender my humble fragment of a setting, such as it is.

Yep, I am.  Though things are not progressing as smoothly as I'd like, I have no intention of scrapping this idea.  PM me for specifics, so I know what you'd particularly like written for.
