Alright, it has come to my attention that we could use some Campaign Builder's Guide Guidelines for Submitting Articles (the CBGGSA, if you will-- gotta love those acronyms).

Submit all articles to me at: elvendoritos(at)gmail(dot)com

-All articles should be no more than 1500-2000 words. If your article is longer than that, contact me.

-All articles should be submitted with the author name that you intend the article to be published under CLEARLY marked. If this is not your real name, please also enclose that for copyright information.

-Any Open Game Content should be marked explicitly in red[/i] when possible, or with [OGC] brackets.

-Acceptable file types for documents are .txt and .doc

so just real basic stuff, nothing too fancy for guidelines?

Pretty much. Word count, OGC, and naming are the biggies.

I think it would be a good idea to list which file types are acceptable.

Elven Doritos

Good call. In general, if you can stick to .docs and .txts, that'd be best-- image files can be bitmaps or jpegs, if you're working as an artist (which we need).

You might want to put the email address for submitting articles in this thread.

In that day Tulkas shall strive with Melko, and on his right shall stand Fionwe and on his left Turin Turambar, son of Hurin, Conqueror of Fate; and it shall be the black sword of Turin that deals unto Melko his death and final end; and so shall the Children of Hurin and all men be avenged." - J.R.R. Out of curiosity, how do you mark text red in .txt files?

Hmm. Good point. If you're sending a .txt., mark  it with [OGC] and [End of OGC] brackets.

Yeah, we should probably let this one "go away" and make a new one with new contact info and such.  Crit, feel free to make such a thread, and I'll sticky it sometime.

For finite types, like human beings, getting the mind around the concept of infinity is tough going.  Apparently, the same is true for cows.

Túrin

That's great, but now I still don't know where to send my submission. :(

Also, shouldn't you unsticky this then?

Let's see if we can get Crit in here to let us know before I make too many changes.

For now, send all Guide submissions to Rose.Of.Montague(at)gmail(dot)com

I'll make a new thread when I have time, but that address should solve the problem of "where do I send stuff?" for now.
