I've been playing around with the idea of a race that is half dragonborn and half goblinoid.  I'm undecided on if there will be a different race for each goblinoid species (one race is dragonborn / goblin, another is dragonborn / hobgoblin) or just one (dragonborn / goblin and dragonborn / hobgoblin produce the same race of offspring).

I'm not sure what to call these creatures.  Suggestions?

Dragoblins... but its kinda hard if there Draconic Goblins or goblins who where skirts.... Dragobs? pronunced Dray-gobs

PS Didnt kobolds have a thing for Tiamat? may work better than goblins.. Kobali?

Don't try to make a compound word. Drakelings, or some other miniaturization of dragon would be best I think. Also, the flavor for goblins is that hobos created the other goblins through magical engineering, so dragonborn + goblins should create the same thing no matter what.

For me, goblins aren't so magical.  They're more and example of evolution, with each one filling a different role.

Use the turkinh word for Dragon (ejderha) and the turkish word for Goblin (gulyabanî) and combine them until you find something nice... I like Gulderha most, lol.
