alternate fluff for magic and classes

I like to view magic as another fundamental energy (tied to life, or the four elements, or whatever else). Certain people can sense it (just like certain people can sense magnetic fields). If you can sense it, you can learn to manipulate it.

Hopefully the OP will read this:

So if sorcerers and wizards do magic differently does that mean that each one has different access to spells?  I sounds as if you should give sorcerers access to move overt, less complex spells (evocation, transmutation, etc.) to represent their blunt effects.  Wizards would then get subtle effects: enchantment, illusion, etc.
