Nah it feels fine to me. But then again I am working on a magitech system that blends ideas from fantasy and sci-fi.

Yeah, don't take it all askance or anything.  Magic IS tech in Celtricia, so I have a different feel.  I was just looking for more of 'magic is boosting/married to tech' type of feeling based on what I was reading, and then I bumped into a 'Magic is replacing tech' type of reality.
