I'm toying with the idea of a little vanity purchase. Somebody talk me into it, or out of it.

I'm interested in who you've ordered from and what you thought of the experience.

I got a bunch of goofy dice from a surplus store and they were fun.

I know this is useless. :P

Many things are useless but still entertaining!

Bring some of these to a game one night and tell me how it goes :)

Yea... but wouldn't a set of those be perfect for vreeg's games... just picture it:

Vreeg: ok roll for basic carnal

Good luck cramming all those words onto a d100 smaller than a grapefruit.

Who said the die had to be smaller than a grapefruit? Just because it has to be rolled on the floor like a bowling ball does not make it any less of a die.  :morons:

But  :ontopic:  I know guys who have purchased custom dice from Chessex. The company lets you put a special symbol over the 1 or 6 and the results look really nice. Here's a link to a guy who made some custom d6's: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2010/04/hobby-chessex-custom-dice.html

I have not seen D&D dice custom made before but I'm sure it'd be easy to do.

That's super, super custom. I was referring to normal D&D dice with different etchings :)

I'm looking for something more unusual than an N-sided die numbered 1 through N. Can Chessex only do standard designs with a logo substituting one side, or can they be a little flexible?

Honestly, what I'd really like is a set of six-sided dice with two + sides, two - sides, and two blank sides. And ideally, I'd like them made of some nice, gorgeous semiprecious stones (aventurine, jasper, etc.).

Ninja D!

I have actually ordered other items from that Made By Wombat. They were cheap, shipping was cheap, my order was sent the day I ordered it, and the product was of good quality. Yay helper!

Lmns Crn

That Made By Wombat stuff isn't really what I'm looking for, but it is quite striking.
