The Remove Message option

I have the option to remove my posts in threads. If I remove the first post of one of my own threads, will it remove the entire thread?

If not is there a way to remove my own thread?

As far as I know, non-moderators can't remove posts by other people.

If you want a thread gone, I don't think there's an easy way to simply delete it, but you can ask a moderator (like me!) to lock the thread and move it to the archive. It's as good as gone, then.
