How many Americans are there though? Obviously their technological expertise would make them a fairly influential ethnic group but are there enough to populate their own state and warrant an exclusive position of leadership?

There'd probably a fair number of American "expats" in other territories too, since their expertise would be in high demand and there'd likely be lots of money to be made.

True and True. It's not a small town like in 1632, it's more like a large town or small city. The population was around 38,000 citizens through the Disposition, but there was some minor forms of immigration from native races which puts it at around 41,000 citizens give or take. Then with the Federal Monarchy taking over, there was some immigration which puts it at around 43,000 citizens. Main reason for slow growth is that Americans are Hygiene nazis.

Also I changed the name from Kharnothia to Parnathia, and consequently changed Kharnoths name to Parnath. The name is to close to Kharlonia.
