Hey folks, didn't know where to put this, but I thought you'd like to hear about it.

Deliria is an RPG like so many others.  A Player makes a character, and the character goes on adventures in a fantastic world.  However, unlike D&D, which I believe most of us are familiar with, Deliria is a game based on the Story instead of the battles.

So, over the past few weeks, I've been sitting in on sessions in the setting, which come spackaged with a loose set of game mechanics.  The current Story-teller is playing the game as a free-form RP, so I haven't had much of a look at the functionality of the mechanics, but the world is phenomenal.  If anyone has ever wanted to play out a fairy-tale, this is the book for you.  Myths come to life, magic lives, and Fey play a central role.  And just to straighten it all out, I'm not talking about the english "children-with-wings" fey, I'm talking about the fickle and mischeivous fey of folk-lore, the ones who are much, much more interesting.

Any questions?  I'll answer what I can.

Also, if you buy the book, the artwork alone is worth your money, there are some nice pics in there!

I looked at the site.  It's refreshing.  I like the feel, even if it doesn't exactly fit for a lot of settings.  It would be fun to try.

The book is a setting in itself, with mechanics included.  I've been sitting in on a campaign using it, and it's really nifty, even if it's not "normal".

In the last session, a viking slaughtered one of those megalithic sharks in a place called "The Swimming Wood" where fish and other sea creatures swim through the air as though it were water.
