Twenty years ago, in 2318 the Last Great War ended, it was considered the Last War, in the hopes that never again would so much blood be spilt. It was a fight comprised of so many factions squaring off against it each other. In the end, no one was hurt more than the elves of Qualinari, their forests had been demolished, they had lost most of their kingdom, forced to relinquish it to the Half-Elves and the Dwarves. It was during the Last Great War that Beren Miriel rose through the military ranks.

He was young then, a failed artist who took up the bow and sword to protect his people, Miriel became a local hero after squaring off against a squad of human dragoons by himself. After watching his people waste away, Miriel began to gain support for overthrowing the Elven King and forging a new power.

In 2338, Miriel became the fifth King of Qualinari and began his reclamation campaign. The Elves embraced their proud ancestral roots, turning more and more to magic often regardless of the cost. Miriel believed that the Elves were the perfect race, that the gods had created them first for a reason. Miriel also believed that it was the responsibility of the Elves to rid the world of the impure races.

When the Elven Juggernaut invaded the Half-Elven Republic of Rhysovit, the War began.
