Nomadic

Quote from: NomadicI am thinking something like pear juice with a bit of lime to turn it green then something to act as a thickening agent, perhaps a small amount of jello powder.
Two issues:

1.) Lime juice is mostly colorless-- even pure lime juice is only very pale green.

2.) When we are talking about beverages designed for drinking, the words "thickening agent" are, for many people, an instant turn-off.

What kind of lime juice are you picking up? The all natural stuff we get in our stores looks like this:

Also there's nothing wrong with a small about of thickening agent in something (you ever had those gel like candy drinks before?)

I mainly get the kind that comes out of a fresh lime. I keep them on hand all the time; I prefer a wedge of lime in my tea, rather than a wedge of lemon (and I drink a lot of tea.)

That picture looks like cloudy, yellowish juice in a green bottle. Natural lime juice just doesn't have much greenness to it.

Personally, I think those gel-like candy drinks are beyond revolting. I guess somebody, somewhere, must like them or they wouldn't keep making them, but I've never met that person.
I move quick: I'm gonna try my trick one last time--
you know it's possible to vaguely define my outline

All that is is lime. It is basically the equivalent of apple cider (the cloudiness is pulp left in the juice).

I know. I'm just sayin', I don't think it's anywhere green enough to be used as a green coloring for some other liquid (though I do think pear with a splash of lime would probably taste pretty good.)

I can't see Nomadic's picture. Are we sure limetom doesn't have IP rights to this anyway?

The Final Fantasy potion commercial rocked :p
