Cool. The randomly generated fiends are cool! I was gonna make something like that for this.

Angels and Demons

Both of the said creatures are supposedly myths spread by the Church of Christos, with one serving and one opposing Christos himself. However, it is possible, even probable, that Demons DO exist, and that they are the creatures within the void. On the other hand, they may be something worse.

 Dragons

Dragons are animals, mindless creatures that fly across the land above Itala. Once, the ancestors worshiped them, but this is a pagan belief and terrible. Their great flights wing across the skies, and the Dragonguard attempt to fight them off. Unsurprisingly, many of them die.

Fey (Elves, Dwarves, Pixies, Sprites, and Faeries)

Naught but a legend from the far-off lands to the West. Maybe they did once exist, but no longer. Or so it is thought...

 Ghosts

Ghosts and spirits can only be let into the world using powerful Voidweaves. They are trapped between worlds, and although they can escape if they are extremely powerful, the easiest way is via magic.

Insanity and Releasing the Magic

A subject that we have not truely touched upon yet is magic, the magic of the void. The void can be pulled upon by certain individuals, known as sorcerors. Sorcerors are rare, and generally caused by a bloodline. They are becoming rarer.

A sorceror will almost always die young. Drawing on the void is said to feel like pulling steel by hand, but with your mind serving as the digits. Only a little can be woven into the world at a time without thinning the void, and thinning the void is dangerous, as the light of a soul can shine through and attract the othersiders... the beings of hatred that lurk within. Even if a Sorceror can resist the pull of the othersiders on his mind, his weaves must also be kept under an iron barrier of mental strength or they can have dangerous and random effects unintentional, including summoning all sorts of horrific creatures...

All this and the Voidtouch, the madness that overtakes all sorcerors within time, make becoming a Voidweaver dangerous. Of course, the pull of power is always too much for even the most strong-willed of potential sorcerorors....
