Five is fine with me, but I think four might be better.  In a game with as much intrigue as I expect and as little combat as I assume we will have, more face time is of greater importance than greater numbers.

Just my thoughts.  I'm not really of a very strong opion either way.

Sorry i've been awol for so long. I do really want to be a part of this, but i'm having doubts about wheter i'll have the time (i just started a very intense university program).

When do you plan to start?

I can make up a char and play for a while at least, but i will have to be gauging it against my course load and as such i may have to drop out of the game after a bit (hopefully not though).

We need a character sheet from you. Once that's squared away, we'll fall into our prearranged Monday night timeslot.

I hope you don't end up having to quit on us. If you do, it's okay (we'll arrange for your character to go out in a blaze of suitable glory), but I'd rather have you as part of the game.

Please contact me ASAP about character creation. You ought to be able to handle it with the information in this thread, but if you have any questions about either nuts-and-bolts game mechanics or backstory and other setting-related issues, I'm happy to answer them. Also, if you decide you can't play after all, let me know ASAP, so that we can start recruiting one or two more players-- a three person game is a little thin for my tastes.

So, i really wuld like to do this  game (i love the setting), and i should hopefully give you a character sheet in a day or 2 (i have a lot of reading and work to do for my lectures and that takes priority). One problem i was thinking about is that i can't actually do that period of monday nights. i'm busy from 8 to 9.
If there's another time that can fit with everyone else, i should be able to play (maybe even shift it a bit later?), but if there isn't then i will bow out of this game, at least for now (maybe join later if the game keeps going for a while).

I can't really shift the timeslot later in the evening.

I could switch to the same time of the evening on Thursdays, but at this point in time, that is about the limit of my scheduling flexibility.

Ishy, Crit, Poseidon: What say you about Thursdays?

Also, if anybody else has an issue with the Monday spot, now would be a good time to bring that up. It looks like we will have to renegotiate either the timeslot or the composition of the group.

I usually get home from work at about 6:00 EST, so any day of the week is good for me if it stays 7:00 or later.

Thursdays are unfortunately no good for me; Tuesdays are about the only other day during the week (other than Monday) that would be good for me.

Mondays are better for me, although if we're moving the date around, I can manage any weekday night fairly easily.

That's alright. I will respectfully bow out and maybe join at a later time.
This may be for the best anyways, since i have a very heavy course load this term.

As an afterthought, would you guys be willing to play late-ish in the evening? like starting at 9 on mondays and then play until about 12? If not, that's totally okay.
