 The spitting monument in Ludain...Capital city. Imagine the image of a man, arms sprawled, head back, neck twisted-his face a grimace. He is of normal Priman size, not quite old, with the frame and look of a Ludain. From his mouth great globules of (what the sculptor intended to be) blood. His opponent is not shown. But the eerie thing is that his skin is not shown either.

  Legend has it that a great Arcanist perfected the spell 'blood to stone' on this individual. All of his bloody innards have been turned to stone and his last grizzly moment of life immortalized in the one of the many public squares of Ludains capital.

  Further modern legend tells us of the monoliths of Idris, carved from the stone rendered from sacrificial blood. The condemned were placed in great square molds, and then exsanguinated by a method (probably arcane) lost to modern scholars. The blood renders an impervious stone. One can imagine the genius needed to build the molds to the correct scale and shape to erect the monoliths out of a stone that cannot be altered once it has been cast.
